Come to our free massage school open house.
Do you want to learn a broad range of Eastern healing
arts in depth? Do you want a solid theoretical understanding of the
ancient wisdom that gave birth to these skills?
Do you want to learn Western methods of therapeutic
bodywork? Do you want scientific, technical knowledge of anatomy and
physiology?
Most massage schools offer you either one or the
other. They focus on East or West, with just a smattering of the other
side. East-West Healing Arts Institute is different. Through our
comprehensive, systematic program, you will learn both Eastern and
Western massage modalities.
Our Program
Our 800-hour program is designed to be completed in 10
or 20 months, depending on which option you choose. We offer the most
hours of instruction and experience currently offered anywhere in the
Midwest. Our faculty is carefully chosen for their combination of
expertise and teaching credentials, and for their ability to create a
dynamic, interactive classroom learning experience. You'll learn a wide
range of Eastern modalities, including TuiNa (Chinese Medical Massage),
foot and hand reflexology, JinShinDo, and polarity therapy. CranioSacral
therapy, sports massage, aromatherapy, Swedish, and deep tissue are just
a few of the Western modalities you'll learn, too. You'll devote 131
clock hours to giving massage to clients at our Student Massage Clinic,
at community events, and through documented independent massage. You'll
gain valuable experience in learning how to operate a massage business
and learn through our business practices course, too. At East-West
Healing Arts Institute, you will gain the tools you need to succeed as a
massage practitioner. And, because our focus is on the whole person --
body, mind and spirit -- you will learn to dedicate your entire being to
helping others.
